Terrorists again strike in Kaduna, abduct 50, kill two

Two persons have been reported killed and no fewer than 50 others abducted when terrorists attacked Unguwan Gimbiya community on the outskirts of Kaduna metropolis on Friday.

A cleric, who pleaded anonymity said, Ungwan Gimbiya came under attack in the early hours of Friday with the terrorists shooting sporadically and operating for about two hours.

“The bandits struck in the early hours of today ( Friday), invaded Ungwan Gimbiya Community of Sabo in Chikun local govt area of Kaduna state and abducted over 50 people and killed two.”

“A total number of 13 families were visited by the bandits. The attack lasted for about 2 hours with heavy gunshots,” he said.

A resident reported a mass exodus of people to safer places over the incident.

The Kaduna Police Command was however yet to confirm the incident.
