Six aspirants, Fayemi, Amosun, Akpabio, 3 others step down for Tinubu

Former Lagos State Governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu appeared to be pushing forward his lifelong presidential ambition with positive and favourable responses from some of the co-aspirants as five of the co-contestant stepped down for him.

So far, the Governor of Ekiti, Kayode Fayemi, ex-Ogun governor, Ibikunle Amosun and former speakers of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole have stepped down for Bola Tinubu.

Also, the Governor of Kebbi State, Badaru Abubakar, former Governor of Akwa Ibom, Godswill Akpabio and current senator from Ondo State Ajayi Borrofice stepped down for the ex-Lagos governor.

Sources said if the trends continue, the presidential primary may turn out to be a coronation for the self styled national leader of the APC>
