Salami investigative panel on ex-EFCC Ag. Chairman Magu submits report
A probe panel headed by the retired president of the Appeal Court, Ayo Salami to investigate allegations of corruption and other offences against the suspended Acting Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Ibrahim Magu, will submit its report to President Muhammadu Buhari today.
The panel was set up in July this year to investigate various allegations of wrongdoing against Magu, who was until then the acting chairman of the anti-graft agency.
Already, members of the panel are at the Presidential Villa, with exhibits in about four boxes in readiness to meet with the president for the submission of their report.
Magu was accused of corruption and abuse of office by the Attorney-General of the Federation, AGF and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami.
