President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday in Abuja announced the appointment of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila as his Chief of Staff.
The president also appointed a former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia as Deputy Chief of Staff.
In a meeting with the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF), the President also named a former Governor of Benue State and immediate past Minister of Special Duties, George Akume, to serve as Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).

Also, in a tweet, former presidential aide, Tolu Ogunlesi announced the first set of presidential appointments by President Tinubu.

“In the Nigerian tradition, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the President serves the Vice President,” Ogunlesi wrote on his Twitter handle.
