President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday met with a leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Lagos Governor, Bola Tinubu in his London home.
The President’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, who confirmed the meeting, however did not disclosed the detail of their discussion.
President Buhari travelled to the UK on July 26 to take part in the Global Education Summit on Financing Global Partnership for Education (GPE) 2021-2025 and to honour a scheduled medical check-up appointment with his doctor.
Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Femi Adesina highlighted in a statement the President’s itinerary during the trip.
The president is expected to return to the country on Friday after he had spent two week in the Unitted kingdom.
There have been speculations on the health status of the the ex-Governor of Lagos in the last two weeks, but his media aide, Tunde Rahman rumour of his alleged hospitalisation.
Also, Lagos Governor, Babatunde Sanwo-Olu visited Tinubu in London and further dispel rumour of his ill health.
