Nigeria’s headline inflation declines to 18.12% in April vs 18.17% in March~NBS

Nigeria’s headline inflation declined marginally in April to 18.12 percent compared with 18.17 percent in March, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said on Monday.

Food inflation also dropped to 22.72 percent in April from 22.95 percent in the previous month, according to the NBS latest data.

Core Inflation, however, rose marginally to 12.74 percent from 12.67 percent in March 2021, the NBS data showed.
