Lagos anti-crime squad RRS arrests 7 traffic robbers in Ikeja, Mile 2

The operatives of Lagos Rapid Response Squad (RRS) on Thursday afternoon arrested three traffic robbers at Ikeja City Mall.

In a post on its Twitter handle, the Lagos anti-crime squad also said that the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Mile 2 park assisted the police in arresting four notorious traffic robbers in the area.

The RRS listed the name of four of the suspects arrest in the Mile two area as; Segun Peters (22), Kabiru Odeh (25), Nurudeen Suraj (22) and Dennis Ikuvbogie (24).

The squad also named the three at the Ikeja Mall as, Anifowoshe Kolawole (20), Patrick Ameke (21) and John Britto (27).

It said that th suspects were picked around Ikeja City Mall based on complaints on their illicit activities around the area.

“The suspects, who were placed under close monitoring before their arrest this afternoon, on most occasions pretend to be beggars and nose mask vendors.

“They used the ploy to rob motorists and pedestrians visiting the complex,” the RRS wrote on the Twitter handle.
