Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Sunday, extended a warm welcome to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, during their visit to Lagos.

The British Royal couple’s arrival was marked by a courtesy visit to Lagos House, Marina, where they were greeted by Governor Sanwo-Olu, his wife Ibijoke, and members of the State Executive Council.

Prince Harry, accompanied by Meghan, is in Nigeria for a three-day visit to promote the Invictus Games, an initiative he founded in 2014.

The Invictus Games aim to raise funds and provide support to serving members and veterans of the military, aiding in their recovery from physical and mental injuries.

In a closed-door meeting with Prince Harry and Meghan, Governor Sanwo-Olu commended the couple for their collaboration with Nigeria’s military, particularly in addressing mental health issues.
