Gov Abiodun hails Tinubu over Edun, Tijani, and Salako appointments

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has extended his warmest congratulations to the trio of ministers-designate hailing from the state, appointed by President Bola Tinubu.

The appointees – Wale Edun as Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Bosun Tijani as Minister of Communication, Innovation, and Digital Economy, and Ishak Salako as Minister of State for Environment and Ecological Management – were hailed by Governor Abiodun for their competence and dedication.

In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Lekan Adeniran, Governor Abiodun highlighted the significance of the ministerial portfolios, emphasizing their pivotal role in the realization of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.

“The nomination of Wale Edun, Bosun Tijani, and Ishak Salako, along with their designated portfolios, reflects President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to reshaping the nation and instilling optimism in millions of Nigerians,” Governor Abiodun stated.

The governor expressed his well-wishes for the ministers-designate as they prepare to assume their duties on Monday, urging them to embrace policies and initiatives that elevate both Nigeria and its citizens.

The appointed ministers were encouraged to leverage their roles to propel the nation to unprecedented heights and fulfill the aspirations of Nigerians who elected the Tinubu administration into power during the 2023 elections.
