Also, the Federal Ministry of Aviation wrote on its Twitter handle that “Nigeria Air received Air Transport Licence (ATL)

“Nigeria Air is here and is going to provide quality service to Nigerians” the Tweet quoted the Ag. CEO of the new Airlines as saying.

The Air Transport Licence would enable the new airlines the authority to operate scheduled and non-scheduled flights in the country.

The Air Transport Licence is a precursor to the all-important Air Operator Certificate that fully guarantees them the right to begin air services.

The issuance of an ATL to Nigeria Air will be coming four years after the branding and launching of the new national carrier by the Federal Government during the Farnborough Air Show in London.
