Fidelity Bank grows deposit portfolio by 14.75% in H1 2020
Nigeria’s Fidelity Bank said it has grown its deposit portfolio by 14.75 percent in the first half of 2020 to N1.40 trillion compared with N1.27 trillion in the corresponding period of last year.
The lender in a regulatory filing said its loans and advances grew by 11.02 percent to N1.41 trillion against N2.27 trillion granted in the first six months of last year.
The middle-tier bank said its gross earnings grew marginally to N105.75 billion at the end of the first six months of the year compared with N103.65 billion in 2019.
The profit before tax also grew 21.91 PERCENT to N11.96 billion compared with N9.81 billion in the previous year.
Its profit after tax rose to N11.30 billion in the first six months of 2020 from N8.50 billion last year.
