CIBN to graduate 1,864 chartered bankers at virtual ceremony on Aug 29

A Professor of Information System and Academic Director Lagos Business School Olayinka David-West is expected to speak at the Digital economy Webinar by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) on August 29.
In a statement by the institute spokesman, Nelson Olagundoye, the Webinar will also feature the Minister of Communication and Digital Economy Isa Ali Pantami as a special guest while the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) deputy governor, Kingsley Obiora will be guest of honour while Bayo Olugbemi, President of Council, CIBN, will Chair the occasion.
The statement said the webinar with the theme; “Digital Economy: The Role of Professional Bankers” is coming under the auspices of the CIBN Graduates Induction and Prize Awards Day.
The Institute will be awarding Certificates to over 1,864 candidates who have successfully completed the various qualifying professional examinations of the Institute in the year 2019.
Olagundoye said the ceremony which will attract distinguished members of the banking community, corporate organizations, Fellows, Honorary Senior Members and Associates and well-wishers will witness the presentation of various prizes to Graduands who have distinguished themselves in the qualifying examinations
