SEO simply stands for Search Engine Optimization. It is the process of optimising your site and site’s content to be ranked for organic(non-paid) search results for search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, Yandex, etc.
According to Wikipedia, an online encyclopedia, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of growing the quality and quantity of website traffic by increasing the visibility of a website or a web page to users of a web search engine.
The more your site is optimized for search engines, the better your site rankings. The better your site rankings, the more likely your site will attract visits.
